Mathias Kuepper
Managing Director & Regional President APAC, Koelnmesse
Mathias Kuepper is the Managing Director & Regional President, Asia Pacific at Koelnmesse Pte Ltd. He oversees the offices in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan, and his management activities focus on the staging of the company’s regional events including THAIFEX – Anuga Asia, Kind + Jugend ASEAN, ISM Japan, ORGATEC Tokyo, IDEM Singapore, gamescom asia and SIGGRAPH Asia, as well as the expansion of business activities in the region’s markets.
Mathias has more than 20 years of experience in the MICE industry, and has held the role of Managing Director at Koelnmesse since June 2016. Concurrently he holds the role of Vice President, Asia Pacific for the Koelnmesse Group to further expand Koelnmesse’s presence and foothold in Asia. He first joined the company in 2002 as the Regional Operations Manager for APAC, was appointed to be the General Manager for Hong Kong in 2006, and held various positions in Koelnmesse’s China subsidiary between 2008 and 2014.
Apart from being actively involved in project and business management, Mathias also engages stakeholders across Asia-Pacific through the establishment of sustainable and profitable partnerships. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economic Geography from Leibniz Universität Hannover and Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

Wendy Lim
General Manager, Food & Food Technology Exhibitions

A seasoned expert in food and food technology exhibitions, Wendy has worked with Koelnmesse for the past 21 years. She was one of the staff who kickstarted Koelnmesse’s Singapore headquarters to lead their Food & Food Technology business development in Asia, especially Thailand and Taiwan. She was instrumental in establishing new brands and negotiating cooperation/partnerships with local and overseas partners.
Wendy currently manages Asia Pacific events including THAIFEX – Anuga Asia and THAIFEX – HOREC Asia. Her business unit also handles the Southeast Asian sales of Anuga, Cologne; Alimentec, Columbia; Anuga Select Brazil, São Paulo; Anuga Select Japan, Tokyo; Anuga Select China, Shenzhen; EXPO Antad, Mexico; ISM Japan, Tokyo; and ISM Middle East. FoodTec events the business unit manages include Anuga FoodTec Cologne and ProSweets Cologne; as well as Andina Pack, Colombia; ANUTEC Brazil, São Paulo; ANUTEC – International FoodTec India, New Delhi; Cibus Tec, Parma; IIDE – India International Dairy Expo, Mumbai; and WellFood Ingredients Summit, São Paulo.

Lynn How
Regional Project Director, THAIFEX – Anuga Asia & PLX Asia

Lynn How is the Regional Project Director at Koelnmesse Singapore, a prominent event organiser with headquarters based in Cologne, Germany. She previously held the position of Sales Executive before stepping up into the role, sharing it with being the Senior Regional Manager.
She plays a significant role in overseeing various international trade shows, including THAIFEX – Anuga Asia, one of the largest food and beverage trade shows globally. Under her leadership, the 2024 edition achieved unprecedented success, hosting exhibitors from over 50 countries and expanding its global reach of trade visitors by 21%. The event showcased cutting-edge trends and innovations while facilitating impactful connections between industry leaders, all amidst the challenges of the post-pandemic landscape.
Her contributions to the MICE industry, particularly through her leadership at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia, underscore her commitment to setting new benchmarks in event management and customer engagement.
