Visa

In general, travellers who wish to enter the Kingdom of Thailand are required to obtain a visa from a Royal Thai Embassy or a Royal Thai Consulate-General. To apply for a visa, a foreigner must possess a valid passport or travel document recognised by the Royal Thai Government and comply with the conditions set forth in the Immigration Act of Thailand B.E.2522 (1979) and its relevant regulations. In addition, the visa applicant must be outside of Thailand at the time of application. The applicant will be issued a type of visa in accordance with his or her purpose of visit. Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) – Mandatory from 1 May 2025

The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is the electronic version of the traditional disembarkation card that foreign visitors must complete upon entering Thailand. It serves as an official record of the traveller’s entry and provides essential information to immigration authorities.

Starting 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea must complete the TDAC online before arrival. You must register within 3 days prior to your arrival.

After submitting the form online, you will receive an acknowledgment email. This email must be presented—along with your travel documents—to the immigration officer upon arrival for verification.
